We always take a little time to select our moorage.  There are several marinas in Ganges, all with the usual amenities.  This spot is very special.  It is the facility used by the BC Coast Guard, float planes from several companies, and a few blocks from the downtown area, shops and restaurants.

A call to the Coast Guard and Harbor Master secured approval.

For an old “float plane driver” this is a perfect spot!

There was always one on approach, taxiing out and taking off and as many as 3 loading or unloading at one time.
